Personality|| Driftbreeze has a young and adventurous spirit. He loves exploring and making new acquaintances and learning new things. He's an extrovert and far from calm, but he has a very laid back attitude in general. It doesn't make him the best leader when it comes to rules, but he recognizes this and usually has his deputy handle most of the smaller issues.
He's very friendly and a flirt, but he knows how to handle himself if he wants to he just...usually doesn't care to be the most serious guy in the room. Drift often ends in a mediator role because while not everyone might love him, it's pretty hard not to like him. His beliefs are what drives Dustclan and what makes him leader along with his charismatic personality more than any aura of authority.
He slowly went deaf by the age of two years, however, he can still easily read body language and most sounds. He is an expert hunter of ground animals, but terrible with birds and fishing. His social skills are a little lacking since he doesn't always pick up on everything without his hearing. He is generally oblivious to finer social cues, but is a very friendly and accepting individual nonetheless.
He often down plays his role as leader since he's not the strongest physically, but he has a very strong personality and believes in his ideals completely.
Driftbreeze is very close with his brother and while they were always close growing up, the death of their sister pulled them tighter. He appreciates his brother's support even when he's not sure he should be the one leading the clan.

History|| Driftsky has been a clan cat his whole life. He grew up in a wooded area with his half siblings Zephyrbreeze and Ghostshadow. He was born deaf in one ear and was slowly going deaf in the other, but he learned enough of how to interpret sounds and vibrations to manage, though he liked to have someone with him who could help him. He was very close with his siblings, and when others would pick on him or talk about them where he couldn't hear, they would always defend him.
He loved listening to stories about how his clan's ancestors used to travel all the time, never settling in one place for too long. He could feel that same wandering spirit in himself and would often explore far and wide with his siblings, fellow apprentices and warriors on patrols. He got in trouble numerous times for crossing clan borders, and while he didn't want to get his clan in trouble more than they already were, he couldn't stand to stay here his whole life. Something was calling him to explore.
After about a year as a warrior, he and his siblings encountered Wraith on one of his travels. It's uncertain what exactly happened as Drift doesn't talk about it, but he helped Wraith with a very large, very pressing problem. His siblings ran back to camp for help, but Driftsky returned with his new friend and declared he was going to start a new clan, one that embraced traveling and exploration. Any of his clan was welcome to come with him, but none did. Most were terrified of the strange loner that accompanied Driftsky. So, the two left, traveling, picking up a couple companions along the way. He's proud to say he has lived in woods, plains, marshlands, hills, coastlines and even a two-leg place.
wip: Driftsky travels with his own companions for a while, but soon, his sister seeks him out. The leader of their old clan is on her last life and she wants to talk to Driftsky. He grudgingly returns, worried it's a trick to force him to return home, leaving Wraith in charge while he is away. The leader has a deputy, but she doesn't trust him, and tasks Drift, Blue, and Ghost to figure out what he is up to. They discovery he was planning to take over another clan once he became leader of this one, and in an attempt to stop him, Blue and their leader are killed. Drift and Ghost succeed at stopping him and banishing him, but only barely. Ghost is heartbroken and so is Drift. In the absence of any leadership and as the only cat who has experience leading a group, he feels called to the stars and he journeys somewhere and has a leaders ceremony. His is charged with taking guardianship of Dustclan, the old name of his clan and granted nine lives. He returns, recognized as leader. He wishes to travel as he had before, and a few cats find this appealing after all that happened, but many do not and so he grants them the ability to join other clans in the area. In honor of their sister, the brother change their names to take parts of her. Driftsky becomes Driftbreeze and Ghostshadow becomes Ghostzephyr. Drift decides to make some changes to the warrior code and traditions they used to follow, in accordance with what happened at his ceremony. Ghostzephyr decides to stay with their mother for now, but says he will seek out his brother one day.
